1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Home Air and Heat handles information when you use the Smart Home Air and Heat Android application. The app provides HVAC service information, allows users to prepare service-request details, retains request history on the device, and provides contact actions for reaching the business.
2. Information Entered in a Service Request
The service-request form contains the following fields:
Required fields:
- Full name — used to identify the request record.
- Phone number — used as contact information in the request record.
- Service address — used to identify the location for which HVAC service is being considered.
- Selected service — used to identify the HVAC service the user is interested in.
- Preferred service date — used to record the user's requested date preference.
Optional fields:
- Email address — used as optional contact information in the request record.
- Notes — used for optional details about the HVAC issue or service request.
3. How Request Information Is Handled
Completed service-request details are retained locally on the user's device using Android application storage so the user can review request history later. In the current version, completing a request does not transmit the request to a Smart Home Air and Heat LLC server, cloud database, Firebase service, or other backend.
Request records remain available until the user deletes them from the Requests screen, clears the app's storage, or uninstalls the app.
4. Deleting Request Information
Users can delete individual retained request records from the Requests screen. Clearing the application's storage through Android settings or uninstalling the app also removes locally retained request information.
5. Contact Actions
The Contact Us screen can open the device's phone dialer, email application, or web browser when the user chooses those actions. The app does not automatically place a call, send an email, or open a website without user action. Information entered in the service-request form is not automatically attached to or transmitted through these external applications.
6. Permissions and Device Access
The current app does not request precise or approximate location, camera, microphone, contacts, media-library, Bluetooth, or payment-card permissions.
7. Accounts, Authentication, Ads, Analytics, Firebase, and Payments
The current version does not implement user accounts or authentication. It does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, Firebase, a cloud database, or in-app payment processing. The app does not collect or store passwords, authentication tokens, full payment-card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, card PINs, online-banking credentials, or identity documents.
8. Data Sharing
Because completed service-request details are retained locally in the current version and are not sent to a backend, the app does not share those request records with Smart Home Air and Heat LLC, the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties through an implemented server connection. If the user chooses a Contact Us action, the selected external phone, email, or browser application operates under its own privacy practices.
9. Security
Local information is protected by the security features provided by Android and the user's device. No software or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in optional notes.
10. Children's Privacy
Smart Home Air and Heat is intended for customers seeking home-comfort and HVAC information and is not designed to knowingly collect information from children.
11. User Choices
Users may choose not to provide optional email or notes. Required request fields must be completed only when the user wants to finish the in-app service-request flow. Users may delete saved request records at any time from the Requests screen.
12. Changes to This Policy
If the app's features, permissions, storage behaviour, or data flows change, this Privacy Policy will be updated so that it continues to reflect the implemented application.
